Birthing Center Update

Here is the latest update on the SMI Birthing Center:

• Birthing Center Plans are finalized and construction budget is approved. 

• Land titles are ALMOST processed, so construction can begin SOON.

• The Training Center which will be used for both the Birthing Center and our Farm Outreach is COMPLETE. (pictures below)

• Team is preparing budgets for 24/7 staff. Jeremy Rice (new full-time staff in Uganda) will be arriving at the first of September and will begin helping to oversee this project.  ​​​​​​​We are beyond excited to BREAK GROUND. Better yet, we CAN NOT WAIT to HOLD THOSE BABIES!!!
